Tarte's Amazonian Clay blushes has been receiving lots of love from bloggers. I have to agree with most of the positive reviews. The first blush I ever bought from this line was Exposed, which my mom kindly brought back from a trip at my request (thanks Mom!). It's a gorgeous neutral pink natural looking color.
As you can see, it's quite used.
It looks a bit mauve in my swatch, but really it's more of a dusty pink. It's similar to MAC's Tenderling, except the latter is much much sheerer than Exposed. I can wear this blush with pretty much any look it's so versatile. Plus, it's very long lasting - it performs better than my MAC blushes.
If you do not have a blush of this type of color, get this blush. You will not regret it, I guarantee you. It's formula, color and performance is way above what I've usually come to expect of blushes. So seriously, get Exposed if you're in the market for a dusty pink!
This blush looks so beautiful! I actually don't own a blush in this type of shade so I'll be looking at getting this in the near future. I imagine it looks stunning with berry lips.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely does! I really think you can't go wrong with this blush - it goes pretty much with anything :)
DeleteI love this colour so much, but I don't use it as often as I should. During the winter, I get swayed by brighter colours (I'm looking at you, Tipsy), likely in an effort to bring the sun back to ultra-drab Toronto.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I don't blame you! I've been liking brighter colors too!
DeleteI've been eyeing this blush for ages. I'm thinking it needs to come home with me...soon :-)
ReplyDeleteDo it Michelle! You definitely won't regret it! :)
DeleteI can't tell you how disappointed I am that these blushes contain lanolin as one of the primary ingredients (I'm allergic). I LOVE the shades and this one in particular, and it's actually a shade I don't have!! But, it's currently on my list of to-buy's to fill that gap in my blush 'wardrobe' (scary image)!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I can't imagine how hard it must be to be allergic to lanolin! It's in everything! Hahaha blush wardrobe is awesome!
DeleteThe colour looks very pretty on your complexion! It was a bit too muddy on me, I prefer my RBR Delicata for a 'nude' blush. I wish it would look just as nice as it does on you. beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOoooh that RBR blush has been on my radar for a while! I need to get me that too!
DeleteThis colour looks just perfect for you! I've never tried Tarte blush but I've been reading a lot of positive reviews for it lately so I think I may have to pick one up :)
ReplyDeletexox,
Cee
The two I have are really good! They really are as good as their reputation :)
DeleteOooh, very pretty shade! I've been meaning to give Tarte blushes a go for ages - have heard lots of good things about them. This looks like a great 'go with everything' blush, will definitely have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteYeah it definitely goes with everything - I don't even have to think twice about whether it goes with the rest of my face!
DeleteI just ordered this. Can't wait to give it a try!
